During one of the Donaueschinger Musiktage concerts, a vehicle remained in the parking lot in front of the Donauhalle escorted by a security system.

Without public announcement of this action, linked to signs of race, socioeconomic level, gender, age and skin color, the audience was questioned and physically inspected prior to entering the concert hall.

This action took place parallel to the migration crisis of 2015. In this year, Syrians made up 36% of the asylum claims, followed by Afghans, Iraqis, Albanians, Iranians and Eritreans.
