The Invisible Other is a work composed by mobile phones abandoned in public spaces with a digital engine encrypted in the operating system.

The system replicates espionage techniques designed to use the built-in microphone of mobile phones as eavesdroppers, allowing the production of audio recordings stored in a server. A simple gesture that reflects on a complex mechanism behind the infiltration of telecommunication infrastructures in our privacy and intimacy.
