The Aftermath.
AXIS -to be seen as AX15– is an ongoing audio-visual compendium on the persistent dilatation of human presence in remote environments.
Within a wide scope of latitudes, isolation and landscape interruption have served as focal points to document sonically and visually the abrupt sedimentation and development of satellite technologies for social tracking, and its infiltration in our everyday life commodities.
Recorded, mixed and arranged during a trip to Antarctica.
All sounds recorded at Aquiles AP-41, a transport of cargo and passengers from the Chilean Naval Force.
